Talkbox is designed as an offline-first, on-device multilingual translation tool.
No Cloud Processing: All translation (voice-to-voice, text-to-text) is performed locally on your device.
No Data Transmission: We do not upload your conversation audio or transcripts to the cloud for processing.
Government & Agency Use: We understand the sensitive nature of our clients' work (including Federal/State and other government agencies). The App is architected to function entirely without an internet connection, ensuring that sensitive data never leaves the device unless explicitly exported by the user.
We collect minimal data to ensure the App functions correctly.
A. Data You Provide to Us
Support Inquiries: If you contact us via email (e.g., [email protected]) or through our support form, we collect your name and email address to respond to your inquiry.
Crash Reports (Optional): If the App crashes, you may choose to send a crash report via Apple’s standard diagnostic tools. This report helps us fix bugs but does not contain your translation content.
B. Data Processed Automatically (On-Device)
Audio Data: The App uses your device’s microphone to capture speech for translation. This audio is processed in real-time on the device and is not saved, transmitted, or stored by Kynamics.
Translation History: Text logs of translations may be stored locally on your device for your convenience. This data resides solely on your device and is not accessible to Kynamics.
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:
To provide you with the App and its contents.
To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it (e.g., customer support).
To notify you about changes or upgrades to our App or any products or services we offer
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to outside parties.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency), though we possess no user content data to disclose.
